Highway Hero of the Year

Clark and Reid drivers, Rob Lommano and Chris Kendall, were awarded Goodyear's "Highway Hero" award. Returning from delivering a family's furniture in New Jersey, they were waiting at an intersection for a light change. As the light turned, a vehicle driving excessive speeds hit another car with a young mother and her three children. Without regard to their own safety, the drivers grabbed the truck's fire extinguisher and blankets, ripped off the jammed door and were able to get everyone out of the burning vehicle. This level of personal courage and effort for another was nominated and received the prestigious Goodyear award.
